About the Urban Agrarian:
Who is this frolicking dirt child, anyway?

Take one cup hippy, one part hipster, blend well!

Name: Peat (Peter John) Johann Willcütt

Residing: Depends on the month! No, I'm not a transient! My official home is in on beautiful and historic Nicollet Island on the Mississippi river in Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have a rather engrained pride in my home state of Minnesota, and all of her glories! You know... It's that coffeepot-shaped state wedged into Canada!

Languages:

  • English: Sadly, this insane wretch of a tongue is my mother tongue...

  • Dutch: My second strongest language, I can also understand a fair amount of the related languages; Flemish, Frisian, and Afrikaans.

  • Swedish: No. 3 on the list, the prettiest language on earth in my opinion. Come on, ABBA, Social Welfare, and open-faced sandwiches, What more do you need?

  • Icelandic: I ate, breathed, and slept this language for two months and it kicked my butt! I hope to plug away at it again, but I need to lick my wounds first!

  • German: See above, only slightly better. Plus my Dutch swallowed it whole, so now I speak good German with a ridiculous Dutch accent.

What I don't find boring: Animals: Genuine, honest, edible.

  • Kittens: Saturn's Little Helper, Hale-bop, Astro, Lunya

  • Geese: Schnee Flaake (AKA No Name White Girl), Glory, Marie

  • Ducks: Ori, Tekeni, Kayeri, Fyfe, Yayak, Sju, Ashta, Deg, Elva, and Tolv

  • Chickens: Yoko, Sean, Scooter, Scamper, Shadow, Nancy, Providence, Rhoda, Sita, Marijke, Peternella, Brigitte, Collette, Babette, Gyoza, Er Tai-tai, Chastity, Felicity, Clarissa, Bleuetta, Gladys, Big Mama, Chicklet, Shirley, Mary-anna Banana, Buffy, and Molly McNugget.
